Place all but the mayonnaise in a food processor or blender. Using the processor gives the dressing some texture; using the blender will make it perfectly smooth. When my husband and I were first married, we would go to the Mayfair Hotel and buy this dressing by the pint. When you tun bottle upside down, sponge becomes wet and then you apply it by moving it along your edge. If the edge is smooth and burnished, and you have a steady hand and a good eye-hand coordination, it can be fairly smooth.
