What happened to all of the decorative junk on your dresser? Penetrol and Floetrel are additives that slow drying time and minimize brush strokes. You use Penetrol in oil-based paints and Floetrel in latex paint. It says on the sides of the bottles how much to use. I don’t think there’s a need to secure the pieces into place.

I’ve been wanting to change up what I use for my tv stand and finally found a good dresser on Craigslist yesterday. Let’s just say I live on the far east side of Indy and drove from my work in Carmel all the way to Danville during evening rush hour to get the dresser. I’m so excited to get started on it and finally get my tv off the coffee table. I used this to do the exact same thing with a dresser I found at Goodwill for $50.
There was no way I was going to give up on this great piece. When I spotted this dresser, all the drawers were on the side and top of it. I was just concerned about getting the dresser in my van. Even when I got out to put it in my van, I didn’t count the drawers.

Add function and style to your television viewing area with TV stands and entertainment centers from Kohl's! More often than not, the centerpiece of your living room, she-shed or man cave is that beautiful smart TV that keeps you and your guests entertained for hours on end. But as much as we love our flatscreen or curved screen televisions, they just don't look right unless they're mounted on a TV stand or entertainment center.
For comfortable viewing, the lower half of the television screen should be level with your line of sight when you're sitting on the sofa or chairs that surround it. Mark where your line of sight is, and then make sure the shelf the TV will be on is no more than 12 inches below that measurement. Just remember that like with hanging any heavy item, you should find a wall stud to best support your floating TV stand when you hang it. If you're getting a bedroom TV stand, you’ll want to consider your bed height and choose a stand that will work whether you are sitting or lying down in bed.
Keep in mind you can buy new pulls for all the drawers if you’d like. The first thing we did was take the rungs off of the top row of shelves. Then, we cut thin plywood to make a base and added wood to the sides of where each drawer was. This gave it a cubby look with three separate spaces.
Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question. My concern is that when I pull out the top drawers for the areas where the cable box would go, there isn’t any wood board/shelving to rest the new cuts of wood on they way you did. I have been told that you should prime every inch of the inside and outside of both the body and the drawers and that will seal in the smoke odor.
